SUPPORT OF THE "DOCUMENTS AND FATES" EXHIBITION IN THE MUSEUM OF THE HISTORY OF THE CITY OF KYIV
We supported the "Documents and Fates" exhibition organized by the Babyn Yar Holocaust Memorial Center in the Museum of the History of the City of Kyiv. The exposition reproduces the historical context of the Babyn Yar tragedy based on unique archival materials from the Memorial Center's collection: letters, photographs, and testimonies, the shootings of Jews in Babyn Yar, and the events of the following years.
Through the personal stories of Ukrainian Jews who died in the Holocaust or survived and became world-known, the exhibition tells the complex fate of people during the reign of two totalitarian regimes. The exhibition uses original documents from Ukrainian archives inscribed in the UNESCO Memory of the World International Register.
